Prevora should be applied 4 times in the first 8 weeks of the treatment plan. A fifth application is beneficial at month 6.
At the end of the first year, the provider should assess the patient for active dental caries and/or periodontal inflammation and treat with a single application of Prevora if needed. Use your clinical judgement to continue with the Prevora treatment plan after year 1.
Some patients need Prevora every 6 months after the first year, while others are free from caries and/or periodontal disease for years. (We are all different!)
