Experience shows Prevora patients are willing to pay between $110 and $150 per treatment. Factors in willingness to pay are the strength of the provider’s recommendation, the patient’s agreement with their need for more prevention, and the prospect for savings on dental costs.
Prevora is conducted under procedure codes CDA13601 and CDHA 00606.
The new Canada Dental Care Plan and tho group dental plans which pay for all procedure codes, support Prevora. The CDCP’s subsidy for hygienist time will depend on the income of the patient and the actual charge by the provider. The CDCP does not pay for the cost of the drug.
